I make videos of tourist spots in the Philippines, things to see, what to do, and where to stay around Puerto Galera. In this video, I want to impress upon you the risks of counterfeit and fake documents in Manila. Subscribe: There's a lot of counterfeit stuff coming out these days, like branded clothing, shoes, mobile phones and so much more. You name it and it can be copied. There was even a group of 50 factories in China busted for selling fake condiments and sauces that were believed to be operating for over 10 years!
Unfortunately, you can find this type of counterfeit activity in every country. In my recent tour around Manila, I discovered that even documents can be duplicated and forged. I'm not saying this only happens in the Philippines, but it does happen and its right out there in the open. While I was riding my motorbike along the busy street of Taft, I noticed a large number of fake document shops. Also in Recto fake documents on display with some boards showing id’s and certificates leaning up against a post. As I come near it, a girl approached me and asked if I wanted to have some counterfeit documents made. Its funny because they're not shy about it and will try to sell you forged documents right there on the street.
