You can't modify this from within the guest operating system. It has to be done from the Hyper-V side, just as you did when modifying the file. It's not exactly easy, though.

If you are already OK with WMI and PowerShell, you could modify this script:. Instead of the BIOSGUID setting (input and lines 238, 241, 242), you want to change ChassisSerialNumber, probably ChassisAssetTag as well.
